Congratulations to February Member of the Month, Emily!


Emily was nominated this month by Coach Jenny! Coach Jenny says Emily is super consistent, and she always wants to know how she is doing and how she can progress to make things more challenging. (She is also sweet, and fun to have in class!) Way to go Emily!

What separates your experience at Dragonfly from other gyms/workouts/things you've tried in the past? The community at Dragonfly is special, everyone is so supportive and celebrates each other’s achievements. Also, the way the workouts are structured has been very helpful for me. I like how everything logically builds upon itself each week, and the coaches explain why we’re doing each thing and are always happy to answer my questions (of which I have many). 


What motivates you to be consistent with your training? I’m motivated by the fact that I can feel myself getting stronger with each workout. It’s like a competition with my past self every week, where I get to make things a bit more challenging every week and see if I can do it. 


Is there anything that strength training has taught you or given you that you weren't expecting? Strength training has given me a lot of self-confidence, at the gym and in life in general, and has helped my ability to persevere through challenges.
