Congratulations to April Member of the Month, Cassie!
Cassie was nominated by Coach Renah and she says not only does Cassie work hard, but she's fun, light-hearted and always positive (unless she's rowing lol). Cassie is just overall an awesome member and a joy to be around.

What separates your experience at Dragonfly from other things you've tried in the past? Dragonfly Fitness is completely different than other gyms I’ve been to, in all the best ways! I love that it’s women supporting women, and so many different levels of experience. I was a little nervous when I started that I wasn’t going to be able to keep up, but everyone does such an amazing job lifting each other up and there’s no shame in modifying a move to meet you where you are!
What motivates you to be consistent with your training? 1) The incredible support system at Dragonfly and 2) seeing RESULTS! I can’t believe how strong I feel after just a year at Dragonfly. I notice, AND friends and family have noticed. Lifting the dog’s 50lb bag of food is a breeze now!
I also love starting a new session and realizing that I can start with much higher weights than I thought (usually Missy or Renah call me out too, so that helps). I think it’s cool sometimes to realize I’m stronger than I think. So that’s a fun win each new session!
Share with us something that you are proud of from the past few weeks or months. I just got married in March and felt amazing in my wedding dress and in photos! Never thought I’d be that confident! Several people asked if I was going to stop going to the gym after the wedding and I enthusiastically informed them I recently re-signed with my same level of workouts, so no, Dragonfly isn’t getting rid of me anytime soon!
P.S. Rowing is fun. I wasn’t pressured to say that.
