November Member of the Month: “I’m going stronger than ever”

Congratulations to our November Member of the Month, Stephanie! The Dragonfly coaches are continually impressed by Stephanie’s positive attitude, and the way she gives 100% in every single class!

Coach Renah says Stephanie knows exactly what she needs to do to get better — and she does it with confidence. And the coaches love when Stephanie shares her goals and accomplishments both inside and outside the studio!

We asked Stephanie a bit about her training routine, and this is what she had to say:

What’s your favorite exercise/equipment to use?

That’s a tough one. There’s still so much that I’m learning, but I enjoy doing exercises on the TRX (even though it scares me every time!) and using the medicine balls—those make me feel tough. 🙂

Most Memorable PR or fitness goal you are working toward?

I think so far my most memorable PR is being able to do more floor movements. When I first started, I wasn’t able to get up and down off the floor. I’m getting better each time. My personal goals are to gain more strength and mobility so that I can be a better me!

What would you say to other ladies who might be nervous to start strength training?

Just do it. I was really nervous and worried that I would look ridiculous or that I would just give up on it just like all the other times in the past, but nearly 4 months in, I’m going stronger than ever. All the women I’ve met have been so fun and supportive. You can make it work for you, wherever you are in your fitness journey!

Extra: What’s your favorite type of music/specific songs to work out to?

Going to high school and college in the 90s, I’m a sucker for some grunge rock, hair metal, and boy bands with a good beat! Lol!
