Fitness Coach (Part-time)

We are seeking a certified personal trainer to join us in the Fall of 2020 to coach small group strength training and conditioning at Black Dog Fitness.

This coach will work side-by-side with our owner to deliver professional coaching and an awesome experience for everyone who walks through our doors. Training will focus on utilizing kettlebells and bodyweight, and we are looking for a coach who is interested in coaching kettlebells and willing to earn StrongFirst kettlebell certification within first year. The right candidate should be hard-working, honest and caring. Black Dog exists to give back and all of our team members should be extremely service-oriented. Teamwork will be especially important and there will be an opportunity for growth. We offer a continuing education stipend for all of our coaches, and a positive community to learn and grow in!

Candidates must hold a current personal trainer certification (ACE, NASM, ISSA, ACSM, NSCA). Group/personal trainer experience is preferred, but we will train the right person. This will be a part-time employee position with some morning, evening and weekend hours. Additional administrative hours may be available for the right person. Fitness Internship (Part-time)

The internship program at Dragonfly Fitness & Training was developed to help aspiring and new fitness professionals gain practical knowledge and real hands-on coaching skills. Our interns will learn and practice skills in three areas: operations, coaching and programming.

We require a 12-week commitment to our program with interns working 15 – 25 hours per week. Our team here will invest a great deal of time coaching anyone in our internship program and will only work with those who are a fit with our mission and values, and who have a deep desire to work hard and get better.

College student earning credits or career-changers currently pursuing training certification are invited to apply for our next internship beginning in September 2020.

Membership Services Team Member (Part-time)

Membership Services Team Members support the overall membership experience by assisting with front desk and general studio operations. This is a part-time position (10 – 15 hours per week) with early morning, evening, and weekend hours. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Greet and check members in for sessions. Perform studio cleaning duties daily, between and after sessions. Process retail transactions. Assist with general duties and paperwork. Be available to answer general questions about retail products, membership, and special events/promotions.
