Fitness Coach (Part-time)

Fitness Coach

We are seeking a certified personal trainer with an interest in coaching our women’s small group strength and endurance sessions.

This is a part-time position that will be available March 1, 2021.

Fitness Coaches work as an important part of our team to deliver professional small group training sessions, while also supporting our overall member experience. We are looking for coaches who lead by example in trying to be better every day. The right candidate should be hard-working, caring, self-motivated, positive, passionate, looking to grow, ready to learn and and eager to make an impact in the lives of others. Teamwork is a must for our small business. And we like to have fun while we’re here too!

Must hold current personal trainer certification (ACE, NASM, ISSA, ACSM, NSCA). Training experience is required.

This is a position with some morning, evening and weekend hours. (No sales.) Approximately 5 – 10 hours per week.

Hours needed: Monday 5:15 pm, Tuesday 6am – 10am, Thursday 4p – 6pm, and 1 – 2 Saturdays per month (7:30 – 10:30 am).

Fitness Internship (Part-time)

The internship program at Dragonfly Fitness & Training was developed to help aspiring and new fitness professionals gain practical knowledge and real hands-on coaching skills. Our interns will learn and practice skills in three areas: operations, coaching and programming. Available in January 2021.

We require a 12-week commitment to our program with interns working 15 – 25 hours per week. Our team here will invest a great deal of time coaching anyone in our internship program and will only work with those who are a fit with our mission and values, and who have a deep desire to work hard and get better.

College student earning credits or career-changers currently pursuing training certification are invited to apply for our next internship beginning in September 2020.

Administrative Assistant (Part-time)

We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide support to the OwnerThe position will assist with general studio operations, sales/marketing, membership experience, and community outreach. This is a part-time position, approximately 15 hours per week. Flexible daytime scheduling, but must be available Monday – Friday. Occasional weekends. May work some hours from home. Position available mid-March.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist with general studio operations, including daily cleaning and general improvements.
  • Assist with retail purchases, inventory and programs.
  • Assist with marketing and promotional efforts including blog and website updates, social media, special promotions, and member events.
  • Create marketing and program materials.
  • Add data into and update lists in scheduling system.
  • Coordinate and assist with meetings, seminars and charitable drives. Assist with fundraisers.
  • Provide additional administrative support to Owner as needed.

Skills Needed:

-Adept in technology and ability to quickly learn various computer software

-Proficient with MacBook, Microsoft Office, Google Docs

-Basic design skills

-Basic event coordination experience

-Excellent verbal communication, writing and proofreading skills

-Excellent time management skills

The ideal candidate is resourceful, organized, and detail-oriented. The ability to work on own and be a problem solver is a must. Experience with WordPress, Wix, and Canva a plus.
