If you haven’t heard my story about the 10 & 15 pound red and yellow kettlebells that are in the studio, then let me share it with you! If you don’t find it particularly interesting I promise there’s a point to the story. 🙂
Those four bells were the first kettlebells that I bought and I remember it fondly. I found them on sale at Target and I was so excited. I said to my husband, “Let’s go to another Target to see if they have more!” And we did, and they did. I remember packing them around with me as I drove from place to place my first year in business. I remember being so happy to have them.
Today, I am so proud as I look around to see women that are so strong – stronger than they ever thought they could be! (And I’m one of them!) Everyone may start with or use those red and yellow kettlebells for one movement or another, but they eventually move on (and so I had to expand the collection)!
I don’t particularly like those red and yellow kettlebells anymore (I had no idea I would become a kettlebell snob!), but I don’t think I will ever get rid of them. They remind me to be grateful for what I have, to be proud of how far I’ve come, and to always seek out that same enthusiasm that I had the very day I bought them.
