We’re thrilled to announce our next SAFE Program (Self-Defense and Female Empowerment), in January!

This women’s self-defense program, created by Dragonfly Coach Joe Switzer, is open to both members and non-members—and the first two were a hit!

All attendees will receive an informational packet, and the two 2-hour sessions will cover an array of topics, including:

  • Increasing environmental awareness
  • Threat assessment strategies
  • Proper form and ways to strike an attacker
  • Effective targets on an attacker’s body
  • The pros and cons of various self-defense weapons

These classes are intended for women only, ages 18 and up, and we’ll be capping the class—so sign up today!

Note: These are not formal martial arts or workout classes, so workout clothes do not need to be worn and many attendees wear regular street clothing.
