Dragonfly Fitness is a group and personal training studio located on Hampton Avenue between the St. Louis Hills & South Hampton neighborhoods with more than 160 members. ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT (Part-Time)

Dragonfly Fitness & Training is seeking an Administrative Assistant to help support our purpose: To empower women to recognize and appreciate all their strengths and capabilities, raising the bar to live their best life and raising the bar to help others do the same.

The Administrative Assistant will assist with general studio operations, as well as needs for membership and community programs. Daytime hours, with some weekends/evenings as needed for special events. 20-25 hours per week.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Performing general studio errands, such as coordinating printing needs or assisting with mailings.
  • Assisting with weekly and monthly studio cleaning duties.
  • Following up with prospective clients.
  • Tracking and purchasing supplies and merchandise.
  • Assisting with community involvement events, fundraisers, and member events as needed.
  • Working with the team to support the overall member experience and onboarding process.

Candidates should be proficient in Microsoft Office, have excellent communication skills and attention to detail, and a sense of humor. Please browse our website to find out more about our studio before applying.

Certified Personal Trainer (Part-time)

Dragonfly Fitness is not your average training studio and we are not looking for just any trainer. We live and work from our Core Values.

At Dragonfly you’ll not only lead group and personal training sessions, but you will have the opportunity to teach, coach, mentor and change lives.

If you are struggling to find your fit with a big box gym, you’ll find that our small studio offers flexibility, an easy going atmosphere, competitive pay, paid training, continuing education stipend, and a real interest in helping you develop and grow in your career. Full-time employees also receive paid vacation.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Certified Personal Trainer (preferably with ACE, NASM, ACSM, NSCA)
  • Current CPR certification
  • At least one year of personal or group training experience is preferred
  • Passion for strength training and lifting

Position will start with 8-10 hours per week, with potential for more.

Dragonfly Internship Program 

Our Internship Program is the first step to becoming a fitness coach with Dragonfly! The program is 6 weeks long, approximately 10-15 hours per week, and involves learning and working in all aspects of training, studio operations, and member services. You’ll participate in meetings, work the front desk, shadow and eventually assist coaches with training sessions, communicate with members, and learn our studio operations.

Applicants do not need to be a certified personal trainer but should be working toward a certification and plan to be certified by the end of the internship period (preferably with ACE, NASM, ACSM, or NSCA).
