Dragonfly Fitness is a small group and personal training studio located on Hampton Avenue between the St. Louis Hills & South Hampton neighborhoods.  Our group training program offers a wide variety of classes for all fitness levels including strength training, TRX, yoga, boxing and more! If you love to work with people and have a passion for your craft, then we may be a good fit for you.

Group/Personal Trainer (Part-time)

Certified Trainers will coach and lead womens group training and personal training sessions. Must be certified (preferably with ACE, NASM, ACSM, NSCA). Experience is helpful, but attitude is everything! Hours are 10-15 per week to start, and include daytime, evening, and weekends. Position also includes paid training.

Interested applicants must be:

Genuine, caring, and helpful. Clients are our #1 priority, and that’s no joke. Can you make a new client feel comfortable in the studio? Can you help make someone’s day better?

Professional and organized . You must have the ability to stay organized and professional in your work.

Self-motivated and a problem-solver. You must be self-motivated, driven, and have the ability to work independently to solve any challenges that may arise.

Honest and hard-working. We are looking for an honest and trustworthy person who loves to work hard and have fun while doing it.

Interested in learning and continuing education. There’s always new information in our industry, and it’s up to us to learn it so we can give our clients the best experience possible.

And if that isn’t enough, a good sense of humor …just because life isn’t always perfect!

How to Apply for A Trainer Position:

  • Write a cover letter explaining why you are interested in this position. Include full contact information (name, address, phone, and email) with this letter.
  • Provide a resume detailing your relevant work experience.

Dragonfly Internship Program

Our Internship Program is the first step to becoming a fitness coach with Dragonfly! The program is 6 weeks long, approximately 10-15 hours per week, and involves learning and working in all aspects of training, studio operations, and member services. You’ll participate in meetings, work the front desk, shadow and eventually assist coaches with training sessions, communicate with members, and learn our studio operations.

Applicants do not need to be a certified personal trainer but should be working toward a certification and plan to be certified by the end of the internship period (preferably with ACE, NASM, ACSM, or NSCA).
